Day 1: Nairobi To Aberdares Reedbuck Campsite
You will leave Nairobi in the morning by private transport to Nyeri town where a jeep will take you to Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters. After Registration, you will enter the park through the treetops gate. You will have a game drive en route to the Readback Camp Site.
You will then spend the afternoon accompanied by an armed ranger as you visit the Karuru and Magura waterfalls, which is just four hours walking round trip to the waterfalls.
Dinner and overnight in tents at the Reedbuck camp.
Main destination: Satima Peak

Day 2: Aberdare Reedbuck Campsite to Honi River Campsite
Break camp after breakfast and then proceed to trek through the moorland as you visit the Queen’s Cave waterfalls and Chania waterfalls on the way.
Be in awe of the amazing views. You’ll be viewing high-altitude plant life. Elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, Elland water backs, Reedbucks, and various bird species can be encountered as you proceed towards Honi River campsite. This is a long day walking for 18 kilometers, picnic lunch will be served on the way.
Later, you will camp at the Honi campsite for dinner and overnight (the journey is around six to seven hours). Main destination: Aberdare National Park Accommodation: Budget camping inside the Aberdare National Park

Day 3: Honi River Campsite to Wanderis Roadhead Campsite
Break camp, breakfast, and start to hike through the Hagenia Forest to Wanderis Roadhead Campsite for lunch. Later, in the afternoon you will visit the waterholes and the Campsite Environs.
Later in the evening, you will have dinner and overnight (approximately four hours) as you prepare for the summit hike early in the morning of the next Day.

Day 4: Wandere Roadhead Campsite to Satima Peak and to Park Gate
Wake up at 5:30h a.m. After a cup of coffee and biscuits, you will start the hike to the top of Satima Peak, 4001 meters, which is the highest point in the Aberdares overlooking the Great Rift Valley to the west and to the east, Mount Kenya.
After reaching the summit, you will descend to the campsite for breakfast or lunch (the whole journey will take approximately five hours). Walk down through the winding road, a Giant Bamboo tree majestically manning it, occasionally buffalos will be seen crossing the road.
You will exit off the mountain via Wanderis Gate and camp there for the night.

Accommodation: Budget camping in or near Wandare Gate.
Day 5: Wandare Park Gate to Nairobi
You will break camp early after breakfast. Later, private transportation will transfer you to Nairobi or the Airport. You will arrive in Nairobi by lunch hour.
